This BBC TV Comedy series of 14 episodes, first broadcast in 1996, was set in and around the office of Cresta Cabs, a struggling London mini-cab company. Philip played part-time cabbie Phil, an aspiring rock star whose ambitions are kept in check by his wife Chrissie and their two daughters Cher and Madonna. The series was written by John Sullivan and directed by Tony Dow and Roger Bamford. The producer was Gareth Gwenlan.
