Thank you, giving the blog a rest.

Hi everyone, firstly, thank you so much for all your birthday wishes - its been a very quiet one I have to say - just what I wanted - life's pretty hectic at the moment.
Secondly thank you for ALL your comments on here - I really appreciate them but I'm just so sorry I haven't been able to keep up the posts and reply to you all.
I hope you don't mind but I'm giving the blog a rest until life gets a bit quieter. In the meantime you can send me email from my website www.philip-glenister.com (if you haven't come here from the site). You can also read, what I hope to be, my regular chats with my good mate Paul 'The Lord' Mendelson on the website. The first one should be on the site today. I've got other ideas up my sleeve aswell.
So, sorry again that I haven't been a very good blogger but I'm going to make sure that I keep you in touch with everything thats going on in my professional life via my website, so keep visiting the website and do send me an email.
Thanks again and I really appreciate your support. Love Phil

Thank you

First of all a big thank you for all the comments on the blog and of course all your emails. It's been great to get the feedback and I really appreciate all the nice comments - thanks very much indeed. Secondly.....sorry for not doing any posts on here for ages but I just haven't had a chance to sit down in front of the computer since we started filming for "Ashes to Ashes". There have been a lot early starts and late finishes, but its all going well and I'm really enjoying it. In a few weeks I'll have a bit more free time and thats when I'm going to sit down and spend a bit more time on the blog. So thank you and sorry again and I'm glad you like the site.

Ashes

I've seen the early scripts for "Ashes to Ashes" and they're great. Everyone who works on the show is gagged by the BBC, because they want to keep all the details under wraps, but by now, you know that there has been some fantastic casting. I'll fill you in on all the gossip, and spill the beans just as soon as I can.

First Post!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I'm new to this blogging so treat me gently.

June and July saw me finishing the bulk of filming for the upcoming "Cranford Chronicles". Thankfully we did a lot of the location stuff in April and May when we thought we were in for a nice summer! When it goes out in the autumn no one will ever know it was fimed during one of the wettest summers on record!
I finished off my work on "Tuesday" - a low budget British film - that should be released in 2008.

My wife, Beth, and I took some time off and braved the weather first at Royal Ascot, and then at Wimbledon. Royal Ascot was a first for us and I thought Beth looked amazing. My own, personal, Morning Suit debut felt like another costume for a part, but once you are surrounded by everyone else dressed the same way, you feel right at home. We had a modest bet or two but every horse I backed turned out to be a donkey. At Wimbledon, we dodged the showers and caught the exciting second round Henman match. As usual, Tim put us through the ringer but it all ended in tears. I had a chat on BBC Radio Five Live afterwards (we were sitting right next to their commentary box - good view!)
